AJAGS is a review-based open access journal for applied research outcomes from outstanding academic work and projects focusing on game design, game technologies and development, game narrative, game art, and related disciplines across the social sciences, the natural and formal sciences, the humanities, and the arts.

As an international, interuniversity endeavor, AJAGS promotes early career researchers’ academic development toward applied game research and scholarship; encourages multi- and cross-disciplinary approaches; and stimulates collaborative projects among universities, departments, and disciplines.
